What You're Enrolling In
Class 3 - Manual Transmission (Honda City)
Motor cars ≤3,000 kg with ≤7 passengers, exclusive of the driver and Motor Tractors/Vehicles ≤2,500 kg unladen weight.
Class 3A - Auto Transmission (Honda City)
Motor cars without clutch pedals ≤3,000 kg with ≤7 passengers, exclusive of the driver and Motor Tractors/Vehicles ≤2,500 kg unladen weight.
Validity
The Class 3/3A driving course is valid for 1 year from the date of enrolment.
Insurance
All students aged 70 and below are insured with personal accident insurance for 1 year (non-renewable).
Enrolment prerequisites
- 18 years old and above (based on date of birth).
- Enrol in person or online.
- Pass both eyesight and colour blindness test at our service counter.
- Physically and mentally fit.
- Must not accumulate more than 12 demerit points under the Driver Improvement Points System (DIPS).
- Must not have any class of Qualified Driving Licence / Provisional Driving Licence under revocation, disqualification or suspension.
Enrolment document (in person)
- Valid Singapore NRIC / Passport.
- Valid Work Permit, S Pass, EP or other FIN card (foreigners).
Online enrolment
Online enrolment is subject to approval after meeting all prerequisites. Students must produce original documents for verification.
Once enrolled, attend a course briefing at our Service Centre between 9.15am and 5.30pm, complete the eyesight test and photo-taking.
Important notes
- If you have serious traffic offences pending against you, you are advised not to apply for a licence — a court disqualification would cover all classes of driving licence, including any newly acquired licence.
- If you have been awarded more than 12 demerit points, or have pending cases that would take you past 12, you will not be allowed to take a theory or practical driving test.
- A new driver with two cases of not displaying the distinguishing mark (triangular sign), concluded or otherwise, will not be allowed to take a theory or practical driving test.
- For conversion cases, if your identification number changed (FIN to NRIC) before or after booking a test date, update the Traffic Police Testing Section and the driving school before the test date, or you will be disqualified.
- UTAP funding (Class 3 only) — NTUC union members can apply for the Union Training Assistance Programme for course support fees. See the NTUC portal for eligibility criteria.
Your Journey, Subject By Subject
Enrol & briefing
Eyesight test, photo-taking and course briefing at the Service Centre.
Theory lessons & Basic Theory Test
Complete classroom theory, pass the TTT, then sit the Traffic Police BTT and apply for your PDL.
Practical lessons & simulator modules
Subjects 1-8 on the circuit, simulator Modules 1-3 and the Situational Based Simulator.
Final Theory Test & final assessment
Pass the FTT and the final practical assessment to unlock the practical test booking.
Traffic Police Practical Test → QDL
Take the test at SSDC Woodlands, then apply for your Qualified Driving Licence.

Remarks
- All fees are inclusive of GST.
- A platform fee of $1.64 is imposed for transactions carried out over the internet.
- Off peak - All weekdays slots from 8.00 am to 3.45 pm.
- Peak - All weekends slots and weekdays slots from 3.55 pm to 9.50 pm.
- Withdrawal of student balance must be made in person and only be allowed upon course graduation or termination.
- No Cancellation/Trysell of Public Holiday Practical Lesson is allowed.
- No refund (including vehicle rental fee) for cancellation of a Traffic Police test date.
