Driver Improvement Points System
DIPS is designed to identify and rehabilitate errant drivers through a system of rewards and punishments. Errant motorists are thus encouraged to improve their driving behaviours on the roads with incentives to expunge their demerit points and previous suspension record as well as remission of suspension period.
What You're Enrolling In
Enrolment Documents
- NRIC / FIN Card
- Valid Photocard Driving Licence
- Letter of notification from Traffic Police
- Enrol in person at our Centre or enrol online for DIPS
Course Duration
- 8.15am ~ 5.30pm (Day 1)
- 8.15am ~ 12.15pm (Day 2)
- 1 instructor to not more than 40 participants per class for theory
- 1 instructor to X participants for practical driving lesson
- Theory lessons are held in classrooms at level 4.
Postponement / Withdrawal / Change of Course Date
The Centre will not accept any postponement, withdrawal or change of course date regardless of any emergencies, medical grounds or any other reason(s) whatsoever.
Refund of Course Fee
- You are not allowed to enroll for DIPS course at different driving centres. You will be disqualified and fee paid will not be refunded.
- All course fee paid are non-refundable and non-transferable, including failure to attend the course or absent from the course.

Protection From Harassment Act 2014
Protect our staff from abuse — our staff have the right to work in a safe environment like everyone else. Any person guilty of using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour resulting in harassment, alarm or distress is liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $5,000 under the Protection from Harassment Act 2014. SSDC may terminate or suspend a learner’s enrolment at any time at its sole discretion if the learner is in material breach of the Terms & Conditions or displays unreasonable or abusive behaviour towards SSDC’s instructors or staff.
